OEKO-TEX® is an independent European certification system for textiles. It tests for harmful substances at every stage of the production process. From raw material to end product. Not just the fabric itself, but also the yarns, dyes and auxiliary chemicals involved.
why it matters.
Clothing sits directly on the skin. That sounds obvious, but the implications are significant. Residues from pesticides, heavy metals or chemical auxiliaries don't simply disappear after washing. OEKO-TEX® guarantees that what you wear has been tested and is safe. Not based on what a brand claims itself, but based on independent research.
For us, that's not a checkbox. It's a minimum requirement.
