GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard. It's the leading certification for organic textiles worldwide. Where other certifications focus on the end product, GOTS covers the entire chain. From the field where the raw material grows to the label sewn into the garment.

why it matters.

Organically grown means nothing if the processing afterward isn't right. A cotton plant grown without pesticides but dyed with harmful chemicals doesn't solve the problem. GOTS looks further. It sets requirements for cultivation, processing, production and labor conditions. Everything in the chain has to check out, or the certificate doesn't hold.

For us, that's exactly how it should work.
