#4 - language.
After a week away with family, some bike rides and a sunny King’s Day in Amsterdam, I’m back in the flow. Time in nature did me good. Off the screens.. close together.. mostly outside. Clear again.
I’ve decided to keep Fract bilingual.. both Dutch and English. The site now automatically adjusts to the visitor’s language settings. That way it stays accessible to anyone who feels connected.. wherever you’re from.
Behind the scenes I’ve been working on SEO and setting up a first content structure. Not just the content itself.. but how we’ll share it. Rhythm.. tone.. channels.. everything has to line up.
I also continued working on the business plan and financials. The P&L for the next three years has been sharpened again. Everything has to be intentional.. aligned with how Fract is being built: conscious.. realistic.. with quality first. That also means setting up marketing in a sustainable way. Steady pace.. built for the long run.
And something I’m excited about.. I’ve locked in the collaboration with FittDesign. They’ll help me develop the first product.. a longsleeve for both men and women. I’ve shared the full brief.. the style.. the fit.. the values. It all has to match.
Next week is all about turning that into design and tech pack. No more sketches.. but real steps toward something that’s made to be worn.
That’s it for now.. time for coffee.
