#3 - first layer.

The past week was mostly behind the scenes. No major updates. But a lot of movement.

I have found a party that helps me with the development of the first designs. We are now coordinating the last details. Think of the design itself, the tech packs, the first samples. The longsleeve will be the first product that I will make.. and I am already looking forward to sharing the first designs with you.

I have delved further into fulfilment… a difficult part. Parties set requirements. Minimum volumes. Proof of sale. Logical, but not self-evident for a starting brand. Still, the experience has to be good from the start. Shipping, returns, service. That is why I am still looking for a solution that does fit.

The financial plan has also been further refined. All costs have been mapped out. Forecasts, scenarios, regulations, investments… everything is on the table. The choice of legal form is also coming closer. Not exciting. But necessary.

From a marketing perspective, I am now thinking about how Fract presents itself. The foundation is there, but I keep refining it. Who do I want to appeal to? How niche do I want to make it? And in which language does it feel natural.. English or Dutch? Everything has to be right.. in tone, in style, in feeling.

It’s a lot at once. But that’s part of it. Especially in the beginning.
