Hyrox Maastricht
Together with a friend, we joined a Hyrox event in Maastricht.. the Doubles Open. We prepared the workouts carefully, figuring out how to complement each other’s strengths. We stayed sharp on execution, avoiding time penalties. Everything went smoothly, and we got the most out of it. A great experience, and happy with the result.
That said.. it was massive and very commercial. After finishing, you almost had to walk through a merchant hall. The tickets weren’t cheap either: €115 per person. Not exactly fair. Exploitation or just market forces at play? 💰
Definition of Commerce
It makes you think. How profit-driven should something be? Of course, money has to be made.. but that’s not the way we want to do it. Our foundation is passion. We simply enjoy turning a hobby into a sustainable business model.
To work across design, finance, production, logistics, and marketing. To not just sell activewear, but to inform, inspire, and entertain. To build a brand with personality.. one that feels alive and real.
‘Chalk Talk’
A good example of that is our new video format: ‘Chalk Talk’, which we’re currently testing. Short clips, max two minutes, where we ask people in our community lighthearted questions about their motivation, struggles, and personal quirks 🎥.
No sales. Just honest conversations meant to entertain.. while bringing our core values (Curious, Clear, Connected, Committed) to life. To build credibility, and earn trust.
Are we dreaming too much here, or can this coexist with sales.. as long as it stays genuine? We’ll find out soon enough.
Here’s the first one.. what do you think?

Sample Longsleeve
At the end of the day, the commercial side is in the product itself. After months of research, connecting with designers, fabric suppliers, and production partners, we now have something tangible: the first longsleeve samples are in — men’s fit & women’s fit.
High-quality, sustainably made. Tailored but not tight. Strong but soft. Lightweight, silky, and made for your warm-up, cooldown, or everyday wear. What’s your first impression?
sample longsleeve, men's fit.
We’ll refine it further based on feedback, while the next items.. a training short and tank top.. are already in development. Goal: launch the first full collection early next year. Until then, we’ll keep figuring out what commerce really means for us. 😉
Gift Card
And speaking of commerce.. we’ve already had our first official sales: two Fract Gift Cards sold. A small win, but a meaningful one. Hoppa! 😎
That’s it for now. To stay relevant, without spamming your feed, these updates will now be shared monthly instead of every two weeks.
See you in the next one. 👋
