Anouk
This week I went to a concert by Anouk at the Ziggo Dome. It was amazing. Such a powerful voice and beautiful songs. But it’s not just the music.. it’s the person that makes her such an artist. What inspires me most is her authenticity. She’s real, pure, and headstrong. No packaging. No act. What you see is what you get. 🤘🎸
4 Core Values
And that’s exactly what we want Fract to stand for. Pure, honest, transparent. Knowing where you stand. Being real. It all comes together in our first core value: Clear.
Then there’s Committed. We go for top quality, in everything. That requires genuine dedication, focus, and determination. Consistent, every single time. It’s the only way to build trust.
We also strive for a progressive, open, and flexible attitude. Listening and daring to innovate. Curious. That means actively asking for feedback to improve our gear, exploring and testing new channels like LinkedIn, Strava, or TikTok, or expanding sales through collaborations with like-minded stores and gyms.
Finally, Connected. Approachable and close. We show up personally and vulnerably, but just as important: we remain accessible. Everyone’s welcome.
You might think: nice marketing talk. But these are real, fundamental values for us. Anchors that give direction, make decision-making simpler, and keep us honest. Now the challenge is to live up to them.
Supply Chain
Living up to it starts with our partners. For the first collection we’re working with three key links in the chain:
- Design
- Fabric supplier
- Production
The long sleeve design is already set and the fabrics are chosen. It’s now in sampling in Portugal, with production continuing on September 8 once they’re back from summer break.
For the other items, we’ve kicked off with our design partner in Spain. We held a briefing session to align expectations: identity, target group, USP’s, competition, inspiration, style preferences. All input to make sure the outcome fully reflects who we are. They’re starting with a moodboard to share first ideas and direction.
That direction will be refined in feedback rounds. The end result: a complete techpack with all the details.. fabrics, design, sizing, measurements, and more.
As part of the agreement, they’re starting with training shorts and a tank top. If those meet expectations, they’ll move on to the rest of the line.
First step: moodboard. In two weeks we’ll share the results in our next blog. 🙌
Hyrox
By then I’ll also have done my first Hyrox competition! Together with a friend I’m signed up for the doubles on September 19.
Hyrox stands for Hybrid Rockstar and is a relatively new, high-intensity fitness concept. The format is fixed: alternating 1 km runs with a total of 8 functional exercises. You can compete solo, in pairs, or in teams, with events held worldwide.

It’s less technical than Crossfit, which makes it accessible to many. What’s extra fun is the global leaderboard, letting you compare yourself to athletes everywhere. With the mix of endurance and full-body effort, it’s the perfect way to get seriously fit. No wonder Hyrox is booming right now.
Oh, and the world record for the doubles? 47:57. There’s definitely room to shave some time off that. 😎
