Pogacar
The garden’s done. Swapped stones for grass.. placed border edges.. trimmed the ivy.. added some colourful plants. Re-oiled the table.. installed the lounge set. It’s all looking sharp again.
Meanwhile.. enjoyed the Dauphiné.. the first real clash between Pogacar and Vingegaard ahead of the Tour 🚴. After a disappointing time trial where he had to give up a lot of time.. Pogi proved himself in the mountains.. no doubt.. he was the strongest.
Such dominance. A rider with flair.. who not only has insane talent but also radiates joy and always dares to attack. Already looking forward to the Tour.
Survey
That kind of boldness is something we want to take inspiration from at Fract. Not just in style.. but also in attitude. Daring to listen. Daring to stay flexible.
That’s why we set up a small survey.. a short questionnaire for our target group. To check how our brand values are perceived and where interests lie. But also to better understand where the barriers are.. and what opportunities exist.
As a thank-you.. we’ll select three participants to join the sampling process. All in all.. a nice way to learn.. sharpen.. and build new connections.
Podcast
We’re also building on social. Last week we updated LinkedIn with the launch of Fract. Got some lovely reactions. That gives a boost.
Instagram is taking shape too. We’re getting more of a feel for what’s fun and relevant to share. That brings more grip and structure. By the way.. the latest posts now appear directly on the website through a new integration.
We also tested Spotify. Uploading is easy.. recording not so much. It’s pretty confronting to hear yourself back 😅. But the medium fits Fract. Personal. Pure. Honest. It’s something we want to continue with.. like so many ideas. But at the right time.
27 suppliers
And no.. it’s not about quantity. But to find the right partner.. it’s important to cast a wide net.
That takes time. And focus. Many suppliers work with minimum order quantities of around 250 pieces per item.. per colour. Fair enough. But for Fract.. as a new brand.. that’s a real risk. Ideally.. we’d start with 100. Still a lot.. especially if you want five or six styles in multiple colours.
The challenge lies in the balance.. low volume.. high standards. We don’t want to compromise on quality. So we stay critical.. patient.. and engaged.
There are a few leads. We’ll continue those conversations. See if there’s a match.. and if we can strengthen each other.
Looking ahead
The goal is to select the right production partner by mid-July. Until then.. we’ll continue the talks and weigh our options.
